Well, here it is! That boring black metal music stand has been transformed into a functionl work of art! LOVE it. Dan formed the metal leg struts and welded them on. A coat of burgany red paint, some fabulous stained glass for the top and the wine bottle holders finish it off. For the fundraiser tomorrow night I added a pair of wine glasses and some really cool plexi grapes for some sparkle. I hope it raises a little money for the symphony at Pioneer Place! Check out my porfolio to see some in progress photos.

I have been wanting to mosaic this piece for years. I finally got my butt in gear and did so. AND it turned out so well. I used lots of stained glass with iridized finished so the light reflects beautifully.

My friend Terree just sent me these great photos of the viola and me, so I just had to post a couple of them.
The back of this is so beautiful too, but you'll just have to go to the portfolio to check it out. I also posted a picture of a birdhouse gourd I painted and woodburned.

Okay! Here's a close up of the chair I did for the upcoming Great River Regional Library Gala. Each artist picked a book to use as inspiration, mine was History of the Ojibway People. I chose the book because the author William Warren is an ancestor of mine. My family history on my mother's side of the family is chronicled in the begining of this wonderful book.

ColorfulGirl Gear is here! Colorfulgirl Canvas Bags are ready to roll!! AND they will make you smile!
Great size for groceries or filling with all your "stuff'". Nice long handles that will go over your shoulder, too. But... not too long so the bag drags on the floor when you carry it with arm extended.
100% cotton with those "ColorfulGirls" on the front. SO bright and happy! For ColorfulGirls of ALL ages!
15" tall, 10" wide, 5" deep with nice strong cotton straps.
