ColorfulGirls at the Art Crawl!!

What a wonderful show we had!! Downtown St. Cloud was literally crawling with tons of folks checking out the many artists and enjoying a beautiful June evening!! Thanks so much for everyone who came by and to the fabulous women of Falcon National Bank who manned the wine table!! Thanks to Westside Liquor for providing REALLY great bottles of wine and to Manea's Meats for the meats, cheeses and crackers.

June 12th Downtown Art Crawl at Falcon National Bank, St. Cloud, Mn

Well, on June 12th from 5 to 9 pm, I'll be a part of the Downtown Art Crawl. Westside Liquor is providing the wine, too! Thanks so much!
Come by, say hello, check out the art and do some shopping!
There are about  a dozen businesses downtown on the Art Crawl, so support your local artists on a June evening! Great way to spend the night!

Happy Easter Meester Party!

Okay, Easter weekend, it's my birthday.... what a great excuse to throw a party, but even better, let's have everyone show up in a fun Easter Bonnet or bunny ears, right? RIGHT! ha ha ha ha ha! My dear friends are so fabulous, on the left you can see Pammy in her ears, Darrell and Merit looking easter fabulous in the center, and my Dan in his Happy Easter Meester Sombraro! Gorgeous day, great friends! Thanks everyone for yet another memorable party !!

Progress on Inuit Bird Painting

I was doing some research on Inuit Art and came across more Pacific Northwest Indian Artwork. I was definately influenced by the genre. Of course, my paintings always end up really colorful! But I love how simple it is. I'm not quite done yet, still need some metallic paint on this one and some texture, but not too much. I had a friend build me some rough lumber frames that will be perfect for this piece.

Falcon on High

I just love this bird! After we had a Chamber Connection meeting at Falcon National Bank, I came home and hit the canvas! They had the Rapture Center from the U of M come in with several falcons and a beautiful eagle. Just spectacular and when she held that enormouse eagle on her arm as we said the Pledge of Allegiance, it was extremely emotional.

Mother Superior our Lady of the Lakes

I just brought this one over to the printer. They'll shoot it and I'll be able to do prints and tees.
I think this one would be really cool on bags, too. I'm in the process of getting them all scanned
for future prints and gear. I'll be doing cards this spring, too.

Pam and Viola

My friend Terree just sent me these great photos of the viola  and me, so I just had to post a couple of them.
The back of this is so beautiful too, but you'll just have to go to the portfolio to check it out. I also posted a picture of a birdhouse gourd I painted and woodburned.

Pamola Ice Fishing

Just thought I'd throw in a picture of me in our fish house this winter. Yes, I do have a funny fleece fish hat on, but it's covered up by my fox headband. We had a ball until someone wanted to buy our cool space on wheels, so our last time out was a New Year's Celebration bringing in 2009!

So Long Drum Thunder!

Well, our boat "Drum Thunder" offically has a new owner!! Yup, she was sold and she has a new captain! What a cool boat. We loved having something that doesn't look like every other boat. We always had lots of people stop and look, talk, visit, question and discuss all that was the "Drum Thunder". We made such great friends and met such cool people because of her.

Dan and I will be sailing a new boat, or at least a new boat to us!  Can't wait to get her back to Minnesota, maybe in May. She will need a new name, though! Any ideas?

My Work Space

Here is my little space where I paint. On the balcony overlooking the main floor of the barn and those beautiful windows to the fields outside. I'm working on a new "Saint".... I think I'll call it "Bluebird" or something along those lines. The colors are blocked in and I'm on my way! I love the transformation that happens as they take on thier own personalities!
